occupational therapy
Our Occupational Therapist Derek Clarke has been working at Bay of Isles Chiropractic since 1995. His treatment focus is soft tissue injury management for various conditions such as back pain, postural strain, occupational strain, and various limb conditions. His techniques include various soft tissue therapies such as deep stretching, myofascial release and dry needling.
Laser Therapy
We are the only clinic in Esperance to offer state of the art Class 4 therapeutic laser. Laser therapy involves using infrared and near infrared laser light to stimulate tissue healing, reduce pain and inflammation and increase mobility. It can be used to treat almost any musculoskeletal condition in a relaxed and pain free manner.
All 3 of our practitioners offer this service.
SHOCkwave therapy
Shockwave therapy uses high energy soundwaves delivered through the problem area to stimulate healing in damaged tissue. It increases blood flow, breaks down painful calcifications and promotes tissue repair. It's commonly used for tendon problems like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow and shoulder tendonitis/calcifications. All 3 of our practitioners offer this service.
pregnancy chiropractic
Both Dr Mitch and Dr Kieren hold post graduate qualifications for managing musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy. It is not uncommon for pregnant women to suffer significant pelvic and spinal pain during their pregnancy, some of which can be helped with chiropractic techniques to balance the pelvis and reduce pain on the associated ligaments that are often under a lot of strain as the pregnancy progresses.
